Gastech Virtual Summit
In response to the unprecedented challenges posed by the global pandemic, Gastech undertook swift adaptations to its event strategies. Recognizing the significance of its 50th year milestone, the organizers were committed to reshaping the event's design to reflect the paradigm shift brought about by the circumstances, while concurrently solidifying Gastech's prominent position within the industry.
Challenge: The primary challenge entailed devising a visual framework that effectively delineated between past live events and the virtual iteration in 2020, while maintaining the distinct brand identity synonymous with Gastech.
Solution: To address this challenge, a darker color palette was adopted to impart a conspicuous differentiation for this year's event. The incorporation of potent imagery, symbolizing the global virtual connectivity facilitated by the summit, was deemed pivotal. Additionally, a strategic emphasis was placed on employing clean and minimalist layouts, complemented by high-contrast typography, to amplify visibility across social media channels and digital platforms. Notably, a decision was made to forego the production of print collaterals for the current year, underscoring a concerted focus on digital mediums.
